New solo album from Ronnie in the works

Postby jrronimo » Fri Aug 11, 2023 8:57 pm

Ronnie mentioned this on Twitter/X:

Some music news:

Preparing to send off the first song from my second solo album to be mixed.

Easily the most ambitious track I’ve ever produced, I like to think of it as a culmination of the sound I’d originally envisioned for “The White Songbook.”

Sometimes, art takes time.

His invoking of "The White Songbook" is especially interesting to me -- that's one of my favorites for sure. Looking forward to hearing more!

Looking forward to this. I hadn't seen his comment about The White Songbook, but that makes it that much more exciting since it's my favorite album. (Needs to be released on vinyl)

It seems I was quite fortunate to be one of the first to receive my preorder of Holiday Fable!

It came yesterday. I did order the test press package, so I'm sure that's part of it coming so soon.

I don't have the time to go in-depth, and no one probably would want to hear me ramble on too much, but it is fantastic. It is of course a beautifully woven tapestry of synthetic melodies, and while it certainly evokes a feeling of Christmas & wintertime I believe it won't be stuck in a "seasonal" box, only to be listened to during the holidays.

I'm sure anyone who is on this site has probably already preordered if they are able, but if you haven't, don't wait!
